Welcome to FCC!

Where kids want to be!

Fauntleroy Children’s Center (FCC) is a non-profit early childhood development and education center. FCC is located in the heart of the Fauntleroy neighborhood in West Seattle. Accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), FCC accepts age one month to 12 years. We offer full-time, part-time and drop-in programs. These programs also include a preschool program for ages three to five, and an after care program for school-aged children.

“Helping you reach your goals in raising your child and helping you over the ‘rough spots’ that every parent reaches at one time or another are embedded in each class as the children progress through the program.” Arline, retired pediatric RN and 14 year volunteer.

Nestled in the north wing of the historic Fauntleroy Schoolhouse, children at FCC enjoy spacious classrooms with soaring ceilings. Further, FCC has over an acre of dedicated outdoor space to run, climb and explore. Also, Children in our older classrooms venture out into Fauntleroy community, and can be found discovering the forested trails of Fauntleroy Park right across the street, exploring the beach at Lincoln Park, or visiting seniors at a nearby retirement home.

At FCC, we pride ourselves in our dedicated and passionate teaching staff. A typical teacher at FCC brings over ten years of experience with our program and a strong commitment to creating a secure, stimulating, diverse, and enriching environment where children want to be!
